New Year’s Update

After a month vacation away from writing, and reflecting on how this blog/newsletter sits in my goals for 2013, I’ve decided to cease blogging regularly here – at least for 2013.

What this means is that I might still post here, but it won’t fall on the regular weekly schedule that was in place for the past two years. What this also means is that if I do post here, it will be something that I am extremely passionate and excited about that, “I just had to share!”

By freeing up the time I was spending on these newsletters, I plan on working to develop Reflective Bible Study further (adding more studies), pick back up on reading regularly, and volunteer in some way to help others who are less fortunate than me.

I’m still working out the details regarding how my new year’s goals will play out, but I know that if I’m spread too thin, everything will be mediocre at best.

If you want to connect with me further, the place online that I am interacting with the most these days is with the members of the 48days.net online community. I haven’t shared much about this community before now, but if you are interested, we are a growing group of people who are not content with living mediocre lives. If this is you, then I’d be happy to interact with you there.

In conclusion, I hope that all of my readers over these past two years of newsletters have grown more spiritually, intellectually, relationally, and intentionally . . . and that wherever you happen to be in life at the start of 2013, that you decide to make this year the year of change!
